The Dog Days are here

Though I won't be vanishing a la Andrew Sullivan this month, vacations, home repair and scholastic writing will be my priorities over the next 30 days. I will be around, but my general practice of commenting on only what I find interesting will be even more stringently followed. In other words, now I will add the additional requirement that my commentary will have to offer something new to the dialogue here in the blogosphere. A very strict rule, I agree, but the real-life necessitates an ascetic approach toward the virtual, at last for now.
