Unfit for Command

I know I don't need to add to the hysteria on this one, DRUDGE is doing plenty on his own. The 60 second spot advertising this book and the free chapter are pretty damning. I also saw members of this group giving a press conference in May (buried by the press under Abu Graib and Iraqi "freedom fighter" attacks) and they were pretty convincing. Nonetheless, it is always a dangerous thing when "attacks" of this nature come out, and people, such as Sen. John McCain, will be calling for the White House to distance themselves from the effort. The problem is, McCain, with his call, has implicated the White House in something that they may have had little or nothing to do with. Just like Kerry doesn't necessarily control the actions of George Soros and Regardless, Steve Schmidt, a spokesman for the Bush-Cheney campaign, said "The Bush campaign never has and will never question John Kerry's service in Vietnam." The political cover has thus been provided, though it will surely not be believed by the Democrats. To make up your own mind, I'd urge you to watch the press conference to which I linked above.
